Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Electrical Supervisor in our plywood facility in Madison, Georgia.
The Electrical Supervisor reports to the Electrical Superintendent and will manage the plant electrical function for a Plywood manufacturing facility in Madison, GA. The incumbent will:
  • Ensure safe workplace practices are followed at all times and drive safety awareness through leading by example
  • Manage the electrical and support staff in a way that cultivates our management philosophy, fosters teamwork and produces results.
  • Supervise the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of a wide range of electrical equipment such as programmable logic controllers, HMI Systems, generators, motors, transformers, control panels, cables, power distribution systems and associated switchgear in the plant.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to increase reliability while improving plant performance.
  • Lead and continually advance the electrical organization -- including predictive, preventive and proactive electrical maintenance analysis.
  • Design and implement long-term continuous improvement applications and systems to enhance electrical reliability.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement processes through decision making, employee involvement, systems and training.
  • Meet and exceed objectives and metrics for safety, cost and productivity performance.
  • Maintain records associated with electrical integrity.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Two (2) or more years of electrical supervisory experience.
  • Must have experience with electrical Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance, and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
  • Must have intermediate or higher level knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and ability to learn various PC-based production applications.
  • Must be able and willing to work safely, and promote safe work practices.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
  • Familiar with electrical codes
  • Knowledge of arc flash requirements and all OSHA electrical compliance standards.
  • Familiar with MP2 system or other CMMS
  • Familiar with the principles of electrical planning, scheduling and coordination
  • Proficient in programming and troubleshooting PLC s (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience with HMI systems (Intellution / Wonderware)
  • Knowledge and experience with electrical automation and robotics

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
