Lathe Mechanic

We are seeking a Lathe Mechanic for a position in Madison, GA.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair identified mechanical issues that affect lathe system.
Maintain personal qualifications to best understand schematics and operations of lathe and charger systems.
Exercise decision rights and make the necessary machine adjustments to minimize downtime.
Submit Work Requests, PGRs, RCAs into MOE system to improve operational efficiency.
Develop maintenance schedules for machine centers and liaisons to verify and maintain parts inventories as needed.
Complete and follow through on any and all work orders pertaining to lathe system.
Perform and participate in root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Department Superintendent or the Shift Team Leader
Able to answer after hours call ins
Must be able to demonstrate commitment to plants overall safety rules.
Can work in a noisy, dusty and non-climate controlled environment.
Must be able to work as a team to meet and maintain performance expectations for department
Must have a high school diploma or GED
One year of Lathe or Mechanic experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
