Flambeau has been established for over 70 years! Come join our dynamic team! General Summary The purpose of the Assembly Operator is to ensure that the parts being assembled meet customer expectations based on standards set forth.
Assembly Operators are expected to learn and understand internal and external customer quality expectations.
This will be accomplished through the use of quality display boards, written documentation and on the job training.
Each Assembly Operator must understand the production standards for each job and properly communicate any variances from the standard.
Assembly Operators are expected to perform all activities in a safe manner and report any safety concerns.
Work areas are to be maintained in a clean and efficient manner.
An Assembly Operator is responsible for implementation of quality systems as identified in the Flambeau Inc.
, Madison GA Quality Assurance Manual and supporting documentation.
There may be other duties and responsibilities expected that are too numerous and varied to describe in this format.
Responsibilities Ability to accurately interpret quality expectations and use that knowledge to complete processes required for each part.
Inspection of parts and record keeping to ensure that quality standards have been met.
Packing, weighing, leak testing, labeling and moving parts as required.
Operating secondary machinery (hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical) fixtures including but not limited to leak tester, air rachet, air decay, drills, reamers, melt welder/sonic welder, labeling machines, guillotine Proper assembly of parts as instructed.
Job Requirements High School Education and/or GED preferred.
Effective oral and written communication in the English language preferred.
Use reading and writing, adding and subtracting of whole numbers.
Six month manufacturing experience preferred.
May require training on first shift Physical Requirements Frequently lifting or moving material of light weight (up to 10 pounds).
Ability to continuously stand for duration of shift.
Wages Starting at $17.
00/hr Additional perfect attendance bonus weekly.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
